INHALE Tobacco Cessation Counseling Measure Now Includes Vaping Codes

INHALE has added a smoking status code to the list of codes that are required to include patients into the Tobacco Cessation Counseling Denominator. The addition of this code will allow providers to be more inclusive of all types of adult tobacco users and to allow Pediatric providers to code for the tobacco cessation counseling they do with young adults who vape. Use ICD-10 code U07.0 Vaping-related disorder to identify patients that vape.
