What is the INHALE Data and Publications Committee (DPC)?

INHALE Data and Publications Committee members provide input and critical feedback that will assist with decision making by the Coordinating Center Leadership team on aspects of the collaborative’s data and publications. This includes:

  • Reviewing data requests
  • Analyzing data associated with INHALE
  • Preparing publications for scholarly journals
  • Review, draft, and approve abstracts for posters or presentations

DPC Expectations

Time commitment for being a part of the DPC will be approximately 2-3 hours per quarter. If you would like to nominate yourself or someone you know who might be interested in joining this committee, please fill out the following form.

Malia Boss, MPH

Anna Kovalszki, MD

Allergist, UMHS Allergy

Dr. Anna Kovalszki is a board-certified Allergist at the University of Michigan with over 20 years of experience. She also serves as Associate Professor of Medicine at U of M and is the Allergy and Immunology Fellowship Program Director. Dr. Kovalszki is passionate about improving patient outcomes in allergy and exploring the link between asthma and allergies.  

Molly O’Shea, MD, FAAP

Pediatrician, Campground Pediatrics Wellness Center

Dr Molly has been involved in the American Academy of Pediatrics throughout her career as a journal editor, national CME planner, and faculty member. She is now one of the Academy’s official spokespeople; writing op/eds and providing media interviews on various topics including suicide prevention, technology and children, vaccines, and water safety. As an Ambassador for the AAP Center of Excellence on Social Media and Youth Mental Health, Dr Molly provides information to parents, educators, pediatricians and media outlets about the impact of social media on youth and tools to keep kids safe and healthy in the digital age. 


Dr Molly is known for her ability to connect with audiences. She gives practical, real-life evidence-based strategies with humor and heart. She has spoken for companies including LinkedIn, Google, and American Axle and been featured on NBC NOW and in national PSAs about internet safety. You can see Dr Molly weekly on her local CBS affiliate where she is featured on the morning news program talking about health and wellness.  


In her free time, Dr Molly loves to cook, swim, and do the New York Times puzzles. 

Rommel Sagana, MD

Clinical Associate Professor, Pulmonologist, Michigan Medicine

Dr. Rommel Sagana is a Pulmonologist practicing at the University of Michigan. He is a Clinical Associate Professor at U of M and Service Chief of Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Sagana is passionate about Quality Improvement and improving patient safety.

Jihad Younes, MD

Allergist, Allergy & Asthma Treatment Center

As a Board member of the Michigan Allergy and Asthma Society, joining the Executive Committee was a way to ensure our specialty is represented and our voice is heard. At a personal level, serving on the Executive Committee has been a great learning experience and an opportunity to interact with colleagues. After all, this is not just about quality measures: not everything that counts can be counted.
