BCBSM Update
BCBSM approves Flovent ABA for members less than 5 years of age. No prior authorization needed for the 44mcg HFA to bridge coverage due to the Amsmanex inhaler shortage.
Updates for DULERA
Effective January 1, 2024, there will be formulary changes for patients covered under CVS Health–administered pharmacy benefits and patients covered under Centene Wellcare Medicare Part D plans.
For commercially insured patients using plans such as Aetna and CVS Caremark, DULERA has been added to the formulary and will be available.
- DULERA will be covered across most CVS plans
- SYMBICORT® and ADVAIR DISKUS® will be non-formulary, non-covered
For Medicare patients covered under CVS Health–administered pharmacy benefits, such as AO Medicare and Silverscript, OR Centene Wellcare Medicare Part D plans, DULERA has been added to the formulary and is available.
