Utilizing an interactive, moderator-led format, this program will present discussions with national thought leaders to help you hone your skills in the diagnosis and management of patients you are likely to encounter in your practice. Learning Objectives
Upon completion of each of the lectures listed below, learners should be able to:

Individualize and Reassess: Biologic Therapy for Severe Asthma

  • Discuss the relationship between pathophysiology, phenotypes/endotypes, and biological agent treatment targets in asthma

  • Individualize the selection of biologic agent for patients with severe asthma based on phenotype, comorbidities, and SDM

  • Assess treatment response to biologic therapy using quantitative measures, noting the relationship between persistent symptoms and common comorbidities

Going Beyond ABE to Improve COPD Outcomes

  • Review the relationship between inflammation, exacerbation, and disease progression in COPD, noting the underlying pathophysiology

  • Discuss recent evidence surrounding the use of biologic agents in the management of patients with COPD, including patient populations and outcomes

  • Discuss current and emerging agents for COPD targeting the PDE pathways with respect to efficacy, safety, and potential place in management

Fibrosing ILDs – Don’t Miss These Three Patient Challenges!

  • Recognize the presentation of patients with IPF, SSc-ILD, and PPF, relating it to pathophysiology and natural history

  • Evaluate and monitor patients with or at risk for fibrosing ILDs based on current diagnostic guidelines, literature, and clinical features

  • Implement management for patients with IPF, SSc-ILD, and PPF, integrating newer therapies and discussing the potential place in treatment for agents in development

  • Integrate multidisciplinary management for patients with fibrosing ILDs to manage comorbidities and monitor for the need for specialty center referral
